Known as the “Brazilian Dubai” and considered one of the main touristic cities in the state of Santa Catarina, Balneário Camboriú is a much sought-after destination by tourists. Located about 80 km from the state capital, Florianópolis, it has more than 145,000 inhabitants. Its infrastructure attracts millions of visitors per year, thanks to a charming setting where the sea and skyscrapers meet.

Tourists have access to numerous attractions and leisure options that appeal to all sorts of audiences. There are ten different beaches, all easily accessible, six of which are connected by the Interpraias Highway: Estaleirinho, Estaleiro, do Pinho, Taquaras, Taquarinhas, and Laranjeiras beaches, in that order. The best known is Praia Central, one of the busiest in the city, with a wide variety of restaurants, bars, outdoor kiosks, and shops, as well as a cycle path that runs along the entire coastline.
