Guarapuava is located in the Center-South of Paraná, around 250 km from the capital, Curitiba. With 200 years of history and more than 180 thousand inhabitants, it has a diversified economy, focusing on the agricultural, timber and grain production sectors.
The city boasts charming landscapes, including parks, old mansions, and churches. It also manages the Salto São Francisco, located at the triple border between the municipalities of Guarapuava, Prudentópolis, and Turvo. Salto São Francisco is the largest waterfall in the southern region and the fifth largest in Brazil, with a drop of 196 meters.
